Listed wine companies — 48 columns

Every company in the VINCAP register: the index constituents, the listed wine companies tracked but not indexed, those excluded and why, and those that have left the market.

Column	Definition
`bc_id`	Permanent VINCAP company ID. Never reused.
`name`	Company name.
`status`	Indexed · Tracked, not indexed · Eligible, awaiting reconstitution · Excluded · Delisted.
`status_detail`	Why a tracked or excluded company is not in the index (for example below the 50% wine-revenue rule).
`ticker`	Ticker as used by VINCAP (Yahoo Finance convention, exchange suffix included).
`former_tickers`	Earlier tickers of the same listing, separated by \|.
`exchange`	Listing venue.
`country`	Country of the listing's home market.
`trading_currency`	ISO 4217 currency the share trades in.
`isin`	ISIN of the listed share. Empty = not found.
`isin_source`	primary (issuer or exchange filing) · gleif (GLEIF LEI–ISIN record) · cross-checked (two identifier services agree) · sec-cusip (built from the CUSIP on the company's SEC filing) · secondary (one dated secondary record — see identifier_note).
`lei`	Legal Entity Identifier from GLEIF. Empty = none in GLEIF (many companies never registered one).
`lei_status`	GLEIF status: ISSUED · LAPSED (not renewed, still the entity's identifier) · RETIRED (entity ended).
`lei_basis`	gleif-isin (GLEIF links the LEI to this ISIN) · gleif-name (legal name and country match).
`identifier_note`	What the identifier search found, and why a value is missing.
`figi`	OpenFIGI share-class FIGI of the ISIN (one per security, across every venue). Empty = no ISIN, or OpenFIGI has no record.
`mic`	ISO 10383 Market Identifier Code of the listing venue (the segment's own code where ISO lists one, for example AIMX for AIM).
`primary_listing`	TRUE if the ticker is the company's primary listing; FALSE for a depositary receipt. Empty for a company that has left the market.
`incorporation_country`	Jurisdiction of formation (ISO 3166) from the company's GLEIF LEI record. Empty without an LEI.
`incorporation_source`	The GLEIF record it was read from.
`reporting_currency`	ISO 4217 currency of the company's reported results, from a filing in the results register. Empty until one is recorded.
`fiscal_year_end`	Month and day (MM-DD) the fiscal year ends, as a filed annual report states it.
`fiscal_year_end_source`	The report the fiscal year end was read from.
`wine_member_from`	Date the company joined BCWINE (the base date for a launch constituent).
`wine_member_to`	Date the company was removed from BCWINE. Empty while it is a member.
`in_wine`	TRUE if a constituent of BCWINE (global) today.
`in_cru`	TRUE if a constituent of BCCRU (boutique, below €100m) today.
`in_east`	TRUE if a constituent of BCEAST (Asia-Pacific) today.
`weight_wine_pct`	Weight in BCWINE today, percent.
`price_local`	Latest close in the trading currency (constituents only).
`price_date`	Session of that close.
`shares_outstanding_m`	Shares outstanding used for market capitalisation, millions. For index constituents, the filed count adopted at the reconstitution of 2 October 2026 (Bodegas Riojanas: the listed line; Changyu: the A line only).
`shares_source_url`	Filing the share count was read from, where recorded.
`shares_as_of`	Date the share count refers to, where recorded.
`shares_filed_m`	Latest filed shares outstanding, millions, all classes summed (read 2026-09-30). Constituents price on it since the reconstitution of 2 October 2026, except where shares_outstanding_m names a rule.
`shares_filed_classes`	The filed count by share class: class=millions@date, separated by \|.
`shares_source_locator`	Where in the filing the share count is printed (note, page).
`market_cap_usd_m`	Price × shares, US dollars, millions (constituents only).
`market_cap_eur_m`	Price × shares, euros, millions (constituents only).
`wine_revenue_share_pct`	Share of revenue from selling wine, percent, from the company's own segment or product reporting. Blank where the company does not split it out.
`wine_share_basis`	Fiscal year and how the wine share was read, or why it is blank.
`wine_share_source_url`	Report the wine share was read from.
`in_2015_universe`	TRUE if the company was in the original 2015 BoomCellar universe.
`in_register_since`	Date the company entered the register (or the dated event that put it there).
`in_register_since_basis`	exact · month · year (as precise as the record) · on_or_before (the register carried it by that date) · unread (an exit whose own date was not read; the date is then blank).
`left_market_on`	Delisting date, for delisted companies.
`note`	Public note on the company's status.
`page_url`	Where the company is shown on vincap.co.

Delisted wine companies — 17 columns

Wine companies that have left the stock market, how they left and when, with the evidence for each — the survivorship record behind the index.

Column	Definition
`bc_id`	Permanent VINCAP company ID.
`name`	Company name at the time it left.
`last_ticker`	Last ticker, where known.
`venue`	Exchange it left.
`country`	Country.
`how_it_left`	Taken private · Squeeze-out · Merged · Insolvency · Voluntary delisting · Wound down · Delisting approved (scheduled).
`cause_code`	Machine code of how_it_left.
`effective_date`	Date the exit took effect. Empty = not established.
`date_basis`	What that date is (for example the last day of trading, or the date the squeeze-out completed).
`acquirer`	Buyer, where there was one.
`consideration`	Price paid or deal value, as the source states it.
`premium`	Premium paid, as the source states it.
`evidence_tier`	1 = exchange, regulator or company filing · 2 = court or specialist register · 3 = press only.
`evidence_tier_label`	The tier in words.
`primary_source_url`	The first source for the row.
`source_urls`	Every source, separated by \|.
`open_questions`	What the evidence does not establish.

Wine stock investor calendar — 18 columns

Results, AGMs, dividends and other dated events for listed wine companies, each read from the company's own calendar or filing, with a record of whether the date held.

`event_key`	Stable key: ticker\|event type\|date.
`bc_id`	Permanent VINCAP company ID.
`company`	Company name.
`ticker`	Ticker.
`in_index`	TRUE if the company is a BCWINE constituent.
`event_type`	Machine code (results, agm, ex-dividend, …).
`event_type_label`	Event type in words.
`date`	Event date, local exchange date.
`date_confidence`	confirmed · provisional · estimated (a confirmed date whose source is over 90 days old reads provisional).
`estimate_basis`	For an estimated date, the rule that produced it.
`label`	The company's own wording for the event.
`source_url`	Where the date was read.
`source_checked`	Date the source was last read.
`status`	upcoming · unrecorded (date passed, outcome not yet checked) · recorded.
`outcome`	For recorded events: occurred-as-scheduled · occurred-on-another-date · did-not-occur.
`occurred_on`	Actual date, when it differed.
`outcome_verified_on`	Date the outcome was checked.
`outcome_source_url`	Where the outcome was read.

`incorporated`	Jurisdiction of the listing entity, where different.
`venue`	Venue(s) named in the filing.
`reserved_ticker`	Ticker reserved with the exchange (reserved is not trading).
`ticker`	Trading ticker, once listed.
`stage`	confidential-draft · filed · priced · listed · postponed · withdrawn.
`stage_label`	Stage in words.
`stage_date`	Date the current stage was entered.
`open`	TRUE while the listing is still in progress.
`expected_date`	Expected listing date, only where the company or exchange published one.
`expected_basis`	Where that date was published.
`wine_share`	What the filing says about the wine share of the business.
`source_kind`	filing · exchange · company.
`source_url`	Primary source.
`source_checked`	Date the source was last read.
`note`	Public qualifier on the company's disclosure.

Every dated change to the methodology, the index membership and the register, newest first — the audit trail behind the published figures.

/data/levels/wine.csv · /data/levels/cru.csv · /data/levels/east.csv — each index's published level, one row per session since 29 September 2026, in USD, EUR and local currency. Append-only; a late row is marked late=1. From 1 October 2026 every row also carries inputs_sha256 (a digest of the constituent closes, exchange rates and share counts the level used), prev_sha256 and row_sha256 — a SHA-256 chain, so an edit to any recorded row is detectable. Newer rows add divisor and event_ref, the continuity-ledger event in force.

/data/levels/history-wine-v1.19.csv · /data/levels/history-cru-v1.19.csv · /data/levels/history-east-v1.19.csv — the history before the record began, computed once and frozen on 1 October 2026 under methodology v1.19: one row per session to 28 September 2026, backcast=1 on every row before the base date (today's constituents run backwards). history-manifest.json lists each file's SHA-256. A new methodology version produces a new file; a frozen file is never rewritten.

/data/levels/wine-ew.csv · /data/levels/history-wine-ew-v1.20.csv — WINE Equal Weight (companion series): the same record and chain, with its history frozen on 5 October 2026 to 2 October 2026; quarterly reset to 1/N from the 2026-12-31 session.

/api/series/<index> — chart history, the same span, recomputed for the charts. Add ?view=eur or ?view=local for one recorded column alone.
